They say it takes a village to raise a child. That may be the case, but it takes a lot of solid, stable marriages to create a village.

How I Work

My Approach

It’s important to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. Everyone has their own style, so to help you get a sense of mine, I’ve included some routine examples of how I approach therapy.

    • I am Direct – I speak with honesty, but never rudeness. Together, we are focused on solutions and moving forward.

    • You Will Have Homework – assignments include anything from practicing affirmations and deep breathing 4 times daily to alleviate anxiety, to repeatedly asking yourself “what’s my priority this moment,” to holding procrastination at bay.

  • My Method is Conversational – I ask lots of questions and will give feedback – but I consider my opinions just part of the “think tank” to which you and I both contribute on an equal basis.
